Munich has a plan

The 2025 annual exhibition of the Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulations is entitled "Munich has a plan" and brings the new urban development plan to life using seven future locations.

The exhibition shows what it might feel like to live, work and be outside in Munich in 2040. Seven locations illustrate the change from today to tomorrow. The measures and strategies needed to become a "place of the future" can be seen.

What could Munich look like in 2040? The new urban development plan lays the foundation for the future. The goals are sustainable urban development and the balancing of social, ecological and economic concerns for a balanced city. The digital plan is a guideline for the next 15 years and complements the "Perspective Munich" sustainability strategy.

The exhibition in the Rathausgalerie also includes three evening events on January 28, February 11 and February 18, three city walks, guided tours and a program for selected school classes.
