Ideas for Tempelhofer Feld
How could Tempelhofer Feld develop? The exhibition presents exciting ideas for the future of Tempelhofer Feld from local and international landscape architects, architects, and urban planners.
The Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing cordially invites you to the opening of the Tempelhofer Feld Ideas Competition exhibition. With this open, two-phase urban development and open space planning ideas competition, the State of Berlin launched a process to collect visions for the future development of Tempelhofer Feld. The focus was on developing sustainable concepts.
In the first phase, 164 works were submitted, of which the jury selected 20 for the second phase. In this phase, the teams further developed their respective concepts. The jury awarded 6 equal prizes and 3 commendations from the 20 works in the second phase. The exhibition features all works submitted as part of the ideas competition. The ideas range from programmatic approaches to concrete and feasible concepts to designs that go far beyond the brief. A remarkable and inspiring range of contributions has emerged, which we would like to present to you in our on-site exhibition and as a digital exhibition.
Opening: September 20, 2025, 4 p.m.
