Wooden Paths

More and more buildings in Europe are being built from wood. From residential buildings to kindergartens to airship hangars, wood is used as a load-bearing material.

The exhibition „Wooden Paths – Sustainable Timber Construction in Central Germany“ showcases exemplary timber construction projects in and from Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. Initiated by the Working Group for Sustainable Planning, Construction, and Certification of the Saxon Chamber of Architects and in cooperation with the Chambers of Architects of Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, the exhibition aims to advance timber construction in our region.
