Timeless Architecture
Timeless Architecture 2022 presents the winning entries in the Architecture Competition and the Richard H. Driehaus Building Arts Awards 2022. Both initiatives seek to draw attention to those who continue to design and build with the same grasp of mastery that gave rise to the heritage we most admire, and to help a growing number of professionals to extend this legacy into the future.
The works on display show how today we are still able to create buildings, cities or places that are every bit as beautiful, durable and sustainable as those created by generations that went before us.
Fortunately, there are still excellent architects and urban planners who have set themselves the goal of creating harmonious, sustainable and inclusive environments. At the same time, not only are the crafts that can shape them still alive in the building industry, but we still have many great masters of those crafts.
