Interior Design Competition
Bellevue Palace, which has served as the official residence of the Federal President since 1994, is set to undergo extensive renovation. To mark this occasion, the interior of this high-profile building will be modernized to meet the needs of its ceremonial functions.
This applies to the ceremonial rooms at Bellevue Palace, where guests of the Federal President and visitors are received during various types of events. The interior design scope of work includes furnishing the spaces with furniture, window treatments, carpets, and lighting, as well as designing the ceilings, walls, and doors in terms of surface finishes and color schemes. For the competition brief, the representative rooms in the central wing of Bellevue Palace were selected. A design concept based on a central theme (“common thread”) must be developed for this sequence of rooms. For selected representative rooms in this area, detailed proposals for furnishings and interior design are also expected, which should come together to form a coherent overall concept.
Opening: August 18, 2026, 6:00 p.m.
