The architecture firm Sauerbruch Hutton was founded in 1988 by Louisa Hutton and Matthias Sauerbruch and has been practicing in Berlin for 36 years. The double exhibition presents around 60 projects and visions of the architecture firm and allows them to enter into a dialogue with historical testimonies of architectural history.

On the occasion of the handover of their estate to the Architecture Archive of the Academy of Arts, Louisa Hutton and Matthias Sauerbruch have conceptually rethought their exhibition under the motto "draw love build" and expanded it to include a decisive level: Selected archive material makes iconic architectural visions of the modern era of the 20th century visible. Together with a look at contemporary architecture, forecasts for the future of architecture and urban development can be freely associatively developed. In a specially developed app, visitors are offered further information in digital form with texts, drawings, photographs and films.

The exhibition is curated by Dirk van den Heuvel, professor at TU Delft.
