Architects4Future
Activist movements in the field of architecture and the building revolution are often led by women. Statistics show that they make up three-quarters of the active members, while the positions continue to be held by men, who nevertheless dominate public perception. The exhibition questions why this is the case and the structural, societal, and historical causes behind it.
At the same time, the exhibition attempts to demonstrate ways in which this imbalance can be changed in the future. In addition to focusing on the building revolution and architectural activism, it also examines activist groups outside this "bubble" in order to paint the most holistic picture possible.
Last but not least, the exhibition aims to motivate visitors to actively engage in change and contribute their own ideas to the discourse. Architects4Future aims to inspire everyone to take on responsibility to make society more just and sustainable.
The exhibition is part of the nationwide WIA – Women in Architecture festival.Opening: Jun 18, 2025, 7 p.m.
