With "ZENZI - Center for Circular and Sustainable Construction", ./studio3 has been conducting a research project in cooperation with the municipality of Söll for two semesters that is dedicated to researching and applying innovative construction processes and materials as well as developing strategies to minimize the ecological footprint of construction projects.

In a first step, in collaboration with regional professionals and cultural initiatives in the field of crafts and intangible heritage, various sustainability approaches were investigated, implemented as mockups and presented in an exhibition in Söll. Building on this, a research building is to be built in the town center in 2025 - a groundbreaking pilot project for circular and sustainable construction that will make the research results visible to the public.

For the aut, the exhibition, which was shown in a vacant building in Söll until November, will be adapted and presented together with the final implementation project and the specially created ZENZI publication.

A research project by ./studio3, Institute for Experimental Architecture at the University of Innsbruck on behalf of the municipality of Söll and funded by the LEADER Region Kitzbüheler Alpen
