Staatsaffäre Architektur
How does construction administration function as part of state administration? How must it be structured to operate quickly and within budget? - These questions, among others, are the focus of the exhibition "State Affair Architecture: From the Prussian Construction Administration to the Reich Construction Administration 1670-1933," which can be seen from May 9th to July 12th in the garden hall of the Baukunstarchiv NRW. "State Affair: Architecture" addresses the relationship between administration and building culture: The exhibition provides a detailed analysis of the Prussian Building Administration and the Reich's building administration from 1770 to 1933, as examples; it also provides perspectives on Germany, France, and Austria.
