Gaudí is an exhibition that seeks to delve into the life of the person and the work of this renowned Catalan architect, one of the most prominent figures in architecture and international art.

The collection on display brings to the forefront the ways in which this world-renowned architect used original forms and shapes, ornamentation, chromatic compositions, rich symbolism, and inspiration from nature; and how these elements are underpinned by the rationality of his constructive system, a prodigy of inventiveness and innovation, fruit of his own personal genius, of the study and the meticulous yet colossal work to which he dedicated his whole life.

Through blueprints, drawings, models, furniture, architectural elements, ceramics, and old photographs, we discover the process behind his biggest projects, from the Mataró Worker’s Cooperative to the houses Casa Vicens, Casa Botines, Casa Calvet, Casa Batlló, and Casa Milà La Pedrera, and not forgetting the temple of the Sagrada Familia or his projects for Eusebi Güell.
