Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes
The exhibition 'CONSTRUIR' by Dietmar Feichtinger Architectes focuses on the construction process and makes the fascination of building tangible - especially in infrastructure projects that combine technical precision with architectural innovation. These include pedestrian bridges, train stations and iconic buildings such as the redesigned visitor areas at the Eiffel Tower, the maritime balcony Aldilonda in Bastia or the access structure to Mont Saint-Michel.
Key moments such as the lifting of load-bearing structures or building in an exposed location over water or railway tracks illustrate the dynamics of the construction process that the office shares with the public. The range of projects extends from educational and administrative buildings to swimming pools and public spaces - with a special focus on further construction in existing buildings.
Sustainability, a precise choice of materials, indoor climate and the interplay of light and atmosphere are central design parameters. The sensitive handling of the site and building as a stage for communal development characterize the architecture. The focus is not only on architects and engineers, but above all on the craftsmen whose expertise turns the design process into a built reality.
