FRISCHGRÜN21
The Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekt:innen bdla has set itself the goal of giving the young landscape architecture scene a stage in the form of an exhibition: FRISCHGRÜN21 - the Young Landscape Architecture Exhibition.
The exhibition of the same name, Frischgrün 21, organised by bdla Berlin-Brandenburg, took place in Berlin back in 2008. After about thirteen years, the time was ripe to get an overview again, to provide a snapshot of young landscape architecture and to offer this to a broader public. To this end, the bdla invited the young landscape architecture scene in Germany to a competition at the beginning of 2021. Two planned and realised projects as well as the office profile were to be presented. From the entries submitted, a jury of renowned landscape architects selected ten young landscape architecture firms whose work has stood out in recent years.
The current show conveys an impression of the special constructional and design quality of young landscape architecture and its authors, who present themselves in the form of portraits in pictures and text. Two projects in Saxony - Am Koitschgraben in Dresden and Gewerbehof B&O Firmenzentrale in Chemnitz - by the Berlin office of Grieger Harzer Landschaftsarchitekten are also included.
