WOOD is the first in a series of exhibitions devoted to materials. Many qualities attributed to wood – naturalness, warmth, purity – originate in the romantic view of the forest. But the forest is an artificial landscape: a production machine subject to the laws of the market. Wood tells its story through design and architectural objects from national and international collections.
Thu 05/06/2014 Mash-Up Material Night: Wood. Designers and artists including Lex Pott, Marjan van Aubel and Chris Kabel will push the boundaries of working with wood. The event takes place in association with the exhibition WOOD.
