CCP07 Architectures in transition

17 Architectures in Mexico City
Address
Viale Franscini 9, Lugano 6900

Issue CCP07 deals with the reuse of buildings and social responsibility as tools for more ethical and sustainable architecture. Climate change and new sustainability guidelines are increasingly influencing architectural practice and prompting architects and professionals to reflect on their role in relation to the environment and society. The projects presented promote the reuse of existing spaces, energy efficiency, durable materials, and the creation of spaces that encourage encounters and interactions between users.

After completing the three stages of the connection in Barcelona, Brussels, and Luxembourg, the exhibition was presented in other cities—including Madrid, Bilbao, Coimbra, and Riga—before stopping in Mexico City as part of the Mextrópoli 2025 festival, where it was supplemented with high-quality local projects.

This Mexican selection, on display in the Limonaia of Villa Saroli, represents a direct dialogue between different architectural cultures and shows how architecture can meet current urban challenges without losing its identity and design quality.

Opening: March 13, 2026, 6 p.m.
