Nine works of architecture by Archea/Marco Casamonti, narrated through the words of the clients who desired and built them, are the theme of the exhibition event curated by Luca Molinari Studio. The themes and importance of dialogue testify to the significance of the title of Gio Ponti’s celebrated book “In Praise
of Architecture” in which he speaks of a desire that is first expressed by the client, and which the architect interprets and makes his own.

The video-interviews produced in Asia and in Europe, with the direction and photography of Pietro Savorelli, highlight the collaborative nature of the product, proving how shared “visions of the future” can create architecture capable of participating in the life and needs of regions, communities and metropolises. The works presented here tell stories that belong to the present time and, at the same time, illustrate the ability of the Florence-based studio to translate, beyond the demands of the theme, the context in which they arise, adapting to the specific identity of the people who live there and the spaces they occupy. “Tribute” is the celebration of the alchemy that is created through the exchange of the creative and cultural potential between the creative mind and that of the person commissioning the work of architecture.
