Palazzo Citterio

Direct from the Triennale di Milano this exhibition is dedicated to the projects submitted to the competition for the renovation of the Palazzo Citterio in Milan, as part of the vaster La Grande Brera project. The winning project by Amerigo Restucci is characterised by a large transparent stair, while Michele De Lucchi’s second place entry is dominated by the use of wood.

The competition for the renovation and restoration of the Palazzo Citterio was witness to the participation of 13 teams, all from Italy, invited to develop a preliminary design drawn up by the Soprintendenza per i beni architettonici e il paesaggio di Milano.
