Meeting Point Construction Revolution 2025

Renewable Construction
Address
Schinkelplatz 1, 10117 Berlin
Hours
Tue-Sun 12 am-6 pm

Under the title "Treffpunkt Bauwende" (Meeting Point for the Construction Revolution), the property of the Federal Foundation for Building Academy will be used as a space for experimental projects and public exchange until construction of the building begins – a place where the themes of the construction revolution in Berlin Mitte can be experienced.

The Federal Foundation for Building Academy (BSBA) and Bauhaus Erde will be dedicated to the transition to regenerative construction in the summer of 2025 as part of the "Treffpunkt Bauwende - Regeneratives Bauen" (Meeting Point for the Construction Revolution - Regenerative Construction) project. The focus is on the ReBuilt project – a Bauhaus Erde project that, in collaboration with partners from Germany, South Africa, Indonesia, and Bhutan, explores and visualizes new materials, construction practices, and supply chains. The Rebuilt project showcases concrete approaches for a regenerative future of the built environment.

Exhibition panels and seating made from reused demolition materials – designed by raumlaborberlin – invite discussion about avoiding demolition and promoting the preservation of existing buildings.

Opening: June 16, 2025, 6 p.m.
