The exhibition "Unplugged – The Power of Wood Joints" at Werkraum Bregenzerwald is dedicated to traditional and contemporary wood joints in craftsmanship, architecture, and design. It highlights their aesthetic qualities as well as their sustainable, durable, and repair-friendly properties.

The topic is vividly presented using numerous hand samples, full-scale models, and practical applications. An overview of more than 180 wood joints from the Joinery Compendium comprehensively complements the presented knowledge. A diverse audience – from professionals in craftsmanship, architecture, and design to families with children – has the opportunity to truly experience the power of wood joints.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with the member companies of Werkraum Bregenzerwald, the Material Hub at ETH Zurich, and STUDIO CROSS SCALE in Stuttgart.
