Atlas of the Common

The Atlas of the Common is a traveling exhibition of the German Werkbund initiated in 2023 by the Werkbund Bavaria. As an ever-expanding collection, the ATLAS showcases exemplary projects from the field of the built environment as examples of collaborative, cultural, ecological, economic, and social action. It has been on display in Munich, Nuremberg, Dresden, and Berlin, among other cities, and presents the projects in poster format. Now, the ATLAS OF THE COMMON is being presented as an exhibition at the Zentrum Baukultur Rheinland-Pfalz in Mainz. A project by the German Werkbund Bavaria, the German Werkbund Hesse, and the German Werkbund Rhineland-Palatinate in collaboration with the Zentrum Baukultur Rheinland-Pfalz as part of WDC 2026.
