As part of the 2025 annual program of the Association of Architects and Engineers in Berlin-Brandenburg (AIV), the successful exhibition and event series "Worlds > Connecting | Journeys through Dreams and Realities" will continue in Premnitz, Brandenburg. Following the successful launch in Rathenow in 2024, further impetus will now be given to the development of the region.

The exhibition in Premnitz will be dedicated to the presentation of master plan studies for the "New Premnitz Center" over the coming months. Sebastian Wagner, AIV Board Spokesperson for Brandenburg and initiator of the association's Brandenburg themes, and Prof. Klaus Theo Brenner will present their visions for future urban design. In addition, students from the TU Berlin (Chair of Architecture of Transformation, Prof. Nanni Grau) and the BHT Berlin (Prof. Ayse Hicsasmaz-Heitele) will provide exciting insights into their research and design work on the transformation of prefabricated housing and the concept of the "Third Place"*.

The exhibition runs until July 2025 and is accompanied by an extensive accompanying program of presentations, workshops, and lectures. These activities are part of the city of Premnitz's preparatory measures for its bid to host the 2034 International Building Exhibition (IBA) in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan area.
